Alfreda Daniels, is an agent for community change as a long time labor and immigrant rights organizers. Daniels is a refugee from Liberia having spent 8 years in a refugee camp in Ghana. She is a fierce advocate for Black, Indigenous, People of Color, and LGBTQ communities. Dianiels co-founded the Black Immigrant Collective which was instrumental in the passage of the Liberian Refugee Immigration Fairness Act. We are proud to endorse Daniels and looking forward to her leadership on the Brooklyn Center City Council. She is also endorsed by the Democratic–Farmer–Labor Party.
